If you're returning to Russia under the State Program for Voluntary Resettlement of Compatriots (Presidential Decree No. 637), you're entitled to significant benefits when importing personal belongings.

Russian Customs When Moving from Europe
Importing personal belongings to Russia is governed by EEC Council Decision No. 107. Resettlement program participants get full duty exemption. For others:
